Living in a Winter Wonderland
In Northwestern Ontario, it isn't uncommon for the winter season to extend long into the spring time. A couple weeks ago, we had some freezing rain. As a result, the foliage was covered in beautiful, glimmering icicles.
Although my first love is painting and drawing, photography is a close second. A few months ago I purchased a new camera - a Canon Rebel SL3 - and had up until this point only used it for photographing my artworks. I am super impressed with how it handled these nature close ups!
Although the ice is pretty, I feel about ready for spring. Here's to hoping it is on its way shortly!
